Just on the cusp of exams and with final hand - ins looming, 14 lucky mentees took part in an excellent carousel of workshops.
Ford Motor Company and Frazer-Nash Consultancy ran mock interview sessions with each student being interviewed twice and given valuable feedback. In the meantime, Clancy Consulting ran an assessment centre group task giving students a chance to experience what to expect at an assessment centre. In addition, our Professional Development Centre offered advice and guidance on their CVs and ran a presentation skills workshop with each student having to present for one minute to the group. The mentees took part in every task and their feedback was "10 out of 10" - an event not to be missed.
Huge thanks from us to our industry partners who brought their industry experience and gave of their very valuable time and thank you to the students who visibly gained in confidence as the evening progressed. You are all excellent ambassadors for the University.
