A Grid Services based Problem
Solving Environment for Large Scale Matlab Simulations
This project is to investigate the use of Grid services for
large-scale Matlab simulations in a Grid computing environment. Issues to be
addressed are:

To develop of feasible methods to wrap Matlab functions
as Grid services so that they can be published and discovered in a UDDI
repository.

To evaluate BPEL4WS for workflow enactment and execution.

To construct Matlab simulations by plugging and playing
Matlab services.

To exploit workflow annotation and provenance for
workflow publication and discovery.

To design algorithms for adaptive scheduling and real
time monitoring

To explore Rough Set for Performance modelling and
prediction.
