Call for Papers
The Journal of Intelligent Systems publishes original research reports
and interdisciplinary reviews on Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science
and the social context of Intelligent Systems. The journal aims to provide
research and review papers at an interdisciplinary level, with the field
of intelligent systems providing the focal point. This field includes areas
like artificial intelligence, models and computational theories of human
cognition, perception and motivation; brain models, artificial neural nets
and neural computing. It covers contributions from the social, human and
computer sciences to the analysis and application of information technology.
The field also covers critical analysis of intelligent systems, and addresses
philosophical questions that arise.
Two main types of paper are published:
1.Research papers: giving primary detailed publication of original
research findings.
2.Theoretical Reviews: contributing to the integration of existing
knowledge by the development
of theory.
- It is the aim of the journal that all papers should be written in a
way that is intelligible and interesting to an interdisciplinary readership.
- We cannot accept papers that simply describe new applications of
existing algorithms.
- There is a strict limit of 8000 words and 6 figures and/or tables per manuscript.
- Papers should be submitted by e-mail to one of the Editors named below and they will
be sent to appropriate referees.
- Please make sure that your manuscript
conforms to the
Guidelines
for Authors
- Please note that there is a charge to authors for reprints of published
articles and / or copies of single issues.
