Brunel Partners Academic Centre for Health Sciences (BPACHS) is a collaborative endeavor between three partners. The principal focus of BPACHS will be in delivering improvements in care through advances in education and research within Health Sciences in which Brunel has established expertise and plans to extend its portfolio of provision. However, the Centre will also be a gateway to broader engagement with other disciplines in the University, including arts and humanities, business, computer science, engineering, law, mathematics and social sciences.
Where, through effective partnership between academics and health and care providers together with our local residents and those who access health and care services; can we improve the quality of provision for patients, the efficiency of services, the opportunities for students and the health and wellbeing for the local community, both young and old.
We all believe that our greatest assets are our people and that the clinical and academic experience they bring, together with Brunel’s reputation for teaching, research excellence, innovation and business engagement, will make this a world class facility. We want to be sector leading and a destination for all those who want to understand and experience what great integrated health and care feels like. With Heathrow Airport acting as the gateway, our ambition is to put Hillingdon on the world stage’ as a leading provider of integrated health and social care.
Our main priorities are:
- Educating our workforce
- Research and innovation
- Quality improvement
- Outcomes based care
