First Aid at Work

Who is it for?

This First Aid at Work course covers the practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern work place. This course will give you the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. This course can be completed as a level 3 QCF award. This course is suitable for ‘Nominated workplace first aiders’ , or anyone wanting a comprehensive, interactive introduction to first aid at work. The course complies with current Health & Safety legislation.

First Aid at Work course covers the following topics

  •  Choking                                                                  
  •  Using the First Aid Kit
  •  Shock
  •  Simple Record Keeping
  •  Circulation and Bleeding
  •  Causes and Treatment of the Unconscious Casualty
  •  Burns and Scalds
  •  Chest Complaints and Heart Attacks
  •  Poisoning
  •  Resuscitation
  •  Fractures and Soft Tissue Injury

 

How is it Delivered? 

Delivered in a classroom setting over 3 days by a professional and approved First Aid trainer.

Assessment Process

Upon successful completion of the course candidates will be rewarded with a First Aid Awards (FAA) approved "First Aid at Work" certificate and a wallet card, both valid for three years.

Facilities

Car parking is available on campus, along with Hotel and Spa Accommodation for overnight stays. There is a gym on campus with negotiable day rates. Further information can be found on our commercial website.

Costs

£250 per person (VAT not applicable). We offer a 10% reduction on bookings of six or more, for more details please contact us.
