Course content

What will you study on the Occupational Health and Safety NEBOSH NGC course?

The NEBOSH National General Certificate covers the main legal requirements for health and safety in the UK, identification and control of workplace hazards, and the practical application of this knowledge.The qualification is divided into three units, each of which is assessed separately:

  • Management of Health and Safety
  • Controlling workplace hazards
  • Health and safety practical application

Assessment

No previous health and safety knowledge is required but candidates should note the assessment includes a requirement to write a short report.

How to apply

To be eligible for this courses, you must be able to demonstrate that you have completed your Key Stage 4 or equivalent. International students are required to attain the minimum score of IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 5.75.

Facilities

Car parking is available on campus, along with Hotel and Spa Accommodation for overnight stays. There is a gym on campus with negotiable day rates. Further information can be found on our commercial website.

Costs

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety cost is £1600 per person (VAT not applicable), lunch is included each day (please provide information on dietary requirements when booking).  We offer a 10% reduction on bookings of six or more, for more details please contact us.
