University of Health and Allied Sciences
The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) is one of Ghana’s youngest public universities, having been established in September 2011. It has campuses in Ho and Hohoe in the Volta Region of Ghana.
UHAS is the only public University in the country that is wholly dedicated to training health professionals through teaching and research to cater mostly for the health needs of the people of Ghana, thus improving the health status and overall quality of life.
The University has a total of 6 schools and two institutes, and approximately 5,000 students; made up of both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
