Employability and professional skills are at the forefront of our programme for Life Sciences.
You will graduate with a range of skills in data analysis, laboratory work, critical analysis and problem solving. You’ll have the option of broadening your knowledge by choosing non-science study such as a modern language, management studies or computer programming.
Our course prepares you for careers in a diverse range of laboratory settings including laboratories for clinical genetics, diagnostic pathology, human performance and forensics.
Our graduates will also have the skills required for careers in the regulatory sector, sales and marketing related to healthcare, environmental management and the sport, health and exercise industry.
Whilst most of our graduates will pursue a science related career, the wide range of skills taught on this programme will fully equip you for career options in areas such as business, finance and information technology. Students will also be equipped for further study and research in life sciences.
