You should get vaccinated as soon as possible in your home country, if you can. If you can only get one jab or you need both when you arrive, you will be able to get vaccinated right away even before you are registered with a GP surgery or a doctor in the UK. This will be free of charge. Simply choose an option below:
Will I get the same vaccine that I received at home?
If you only got one jab in your home country and are getting the second in the UK, you'll be given the same vaccine as your first dose or offered a similar alternative. These are the vaccines approved for use in the UK:
- Oxford/AstraZeneca (you'll only be offered this one if you're over 40)
Will I need to quarantine
Whether you need to quarantine or not will depend on how your country is classified at the time of your arrival, however if you are required to do so, we will refund the cost of the managed quarantine hotel and test package up to £1,750 for all new and returning students.
