Graduation is a popular event; the ceremony venue has a fixed limit on the number of seats, and so we are only able to guarantee up to 2 guest tickets per graduating student. All guests will require a ticket to enter the auditorium.
In your "Graduation Task" you will be asked to indicate how many guests (up to 4) you would like to attend your ceremony, each of whom will require a guest ticket, charged at £26 each. Please be aware that there is a maximum capacity at the venue for Health and Safety reasons and therefore we ask that only students and guests with tickets attend.
Theatre (i.e. ticketed) entry is not permitted for children 6 years old and below (ie children need to be 7 or older to enter the theatre). In addition, because of fire regulations, any child 7 or older entering the theatre must have a separate seat (and ticket) and cannot be accommodated by sitting on an adult’s lap.
In order to share the available ceremony tickets as fairly as possible, we will carry out 2 guest ticket allocations:
You can pay for your tickets once the first allocation has taken place around 12pm on Tuesday 26th November. You will then be able to pay for them online through the eVision task or via the Cash Office. An email containing further instructions will be sent once the first ticket allocation has taken place.
You will then have until 9:00am on Monday 3rd December 2018 to pay for any allocated guest tickets. After this time, unpaid ticket allocations will be returned to the pool for re-allocation;
- (Second Allocation) from Tuesday 4th December 2018 to 8:00am on Thursday 6th December 2018, you can request additional guest tickets in addition to those tickets you have already paid for. You will have 2 days to request more guest tickets and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
- From 11:00am on Thursday 6th December 2018 the second guest ticket payment task opens. At this stage, please check your eVision account for second allocation details. You will be able to make payment for this second allocation from this date until 12:00pm on Wednesday 12th December 2018 until the day before your ceremony.
- (Payment Window Closure) On 12:00pm on Wednesday 12th December 2018 the second and final ticket payment window closes. No further payments will be or updates will be allowed as you cannot pay on the day at the ceremony – Please note that any allocated tickets not paid for by this date are no longer available and will be removed from your account.
All these activities will be offered via eVision, which will indicate the numbers of tickets allocated to you, any you have paid for and second allocation tickets approved. It is important that you check for email and text reminders during this period.
