Self-isolating once you arrive

If you are arriving from a country that requires you to self isolate for 14 days, you can move into your room on campus when you arrive.

Please keep checking this page regularly as it will be updated with the latest information.

When you arrive in the UK you will need to self isolate for 14 days, unless you are arriving from an exempt country listed here. Government guidance on quarantining can be found here.

Self isolating before you arrrive

What should I do before I arrive?

You will need to let us know if you are arriving from a country where you need to self isolate. Please complete this form to let us know what date you are arriving.

Where will I stay during quarantine on campus?

If you have booked a campus room, you will be able to move into your room upon your arrival.

Where do I collect my room key from?

You can collect the keys to your accommodation from the Residences Office, Concourse Hall from:

  • Monday – Friday:     8.30am until 5:30pm
  • Saturday – Sunday: 10:00am until 6:00pm

After this time, keys will be available at the Security Office, Wilfred Brown Building.

What services are provided during on campus quarantine

We will supply you with additional cleaning materials so that you are able to maintain the cleanliness of your flat during self-isolation. Residences will collect rubbish bags; however, these will need to be deposited outside your flat front door as they cannot be collected from within your flat.

We can exchange your linen whilst you are in self-isolation. Please report this via the Planon app. Please select “Furniture Fault Request” and state “Linen Change” in the comments. Linen will be delivered outside your flat door. Please return the used linen once you have completed your self-isolation.
