Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)

The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) is a Higher Education Academy (HEA) online survey. Its purpose is to gain the views of our research students about your experience of supervision, the research environment and development as a researcher.

The University is committed to improving student experience and these results help us to identify where we are doing well and where things could still be improved.

Complete this survey today and you will be entered into a weekly draw to win £25 every week until the end of term, Friday 5 April. The survey closes on Friday 17 May.

Why should I take part?

To help ensure you have the best possible experience as a research student at Brunel, the University is taking part in PRES.

As part of a national survey in which about half the universities in the country are taking part, the results will really help us identify what is either working well or could be done better, and make changes to improve the experience of all Brunel postgraduate research students. Individual responses are confidential and the results will be reported anonymous and aggregated so that no individual can be identified.

Many changes have been made on a University-wide level and in departments in response to student feedback over the years, have a look at them here.
