Why study Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at Brunel?

You’ll be taught by full-time clinicians working in the NHS and private sectors, in both point of care musculoskeletal clinics and radiology sonography roles. Guest lecturers will further deliver content from their area of expertise including a medical physicist, a consultant musculoskeletal radiologist and a consultant rheumatologist.

Our lecturers are involved at a national and international level on the topics of musculoskeletal ultrasound education and standards, liaising with numerous professional bodies. This offers you an exciting combination of clinical expertise and outstanding knowledge of the professional issues of this imaging modality, helping you to have the strongest start to using this skill within your practice.
This programme has been developed in partnership with The Ultrasound Site Ltd, established market leaders in musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging training.
We are proud to have achieved accreditation by CASE (Consortium for the Accreditation of Sonographic Education). This is an organisation that exists to accredit ultrasound programmes within the UK at higher educational institutions, ensuring the highest standards are met. Our programme is also endorsed by BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society) and provides CPD credits in accordance with the Royal College of Radiologists.
The programme is structured over focussed face-to-face and timetabled taught day blocks including weekends, which offers you flexibility with reduced impact on your existing clinical commitments.
