Are 14 Days of Quarantine for Coronavirus Effective?

The first in Brunel's Public Webinar Series, Professor Keming Yu explores how the use of Weibull statistical analysis can help us understand whether 14 days of quarantine are effective.

In epidemiology the quarantine period of a virus is determined by the incubation period, which is defined as the time from exposure to the onset of disease. This period is now widely agreed, estimated scientifically by mathematical modelling studies. This public webinar, based on COVID-19 data from Wuhan of China, presents some numerical results of the quarantine period of COVID-19.
