A free, one-day symposium examining maternal bodies in the long nineteenth century from a diverse range of perspectives, taking place at the Foundling Museum, London, and coinciding with their exhibition on 'Portraying Pregnancy'.  A limited number of travel bursaries for PGRs and ECRs will be available.
