Brunel Public Webinar Series
Global Public Health Challenges and Opportunities:
Insight from the Experts

Our next four sessions in the Public Webinar Series turn their attention to matters of global health, led by renowned members of the field, who also happen to be Visiting Professors in Brunel's Department of Health Sciences.

We begin by discussing the monetary value and speeding-up of research using examples from screening, musculoskeletal disease, and vaccines for COVID-19. Subsequently, our expert will unpack challenges in breast cancer control in India. Following on, we discuss how we can cultivate research excellence to benefit the health and wellbeing of our communities. We then consider the achievements and drawbacks of a national web-based system to control communicable diseases.
