Brunel Design and Engineering Students Launch MADE IN BRUNEL 2008

Many of the final year design and engineering students' projects aim to tackle some of the modern world's biggest issues such as climate change, well-being and health, transport, personal safety and security. Projects will be showcased at MADE IN BRUNEL 2008, which takes place at the Business Design Centre, Islington, from June 10-12, 2008.

Professor Rob Macredie, Pro-Vice-Chancellor responsible for Student Experience. commented: “MADE IN BRUNEL is a very important event in the University and design and engineering industry calendars. It provides a platform for our students' to exhibit their unique projects, which all have the potential to impact the lives of consumers and others.

“MADE IN BRUNEL exerts a significant positive influence on our campus, students and staff, but the effects of the student-led show can be felt on a wider stage, resonating and permeating into society at large. We are so pleased to be launching MADE IN BRUNEL 2008 and are thoroughly looking forward to seeing the projects that will impact all our futures in June 08.“
