Brunel University London's £150 million vision of the future

Brunel University London has this week set out its vision for its future campus, with a total planned investment of £150m over the next five years, bringing the total investment to £550 million over fifteen years. The University’s Council has agreed a vision that improves facilities across teaching, learning, research and the student experience, and have asked the leadership team to continue to develop plans for a state of the art teaching and learning centre, a new engineering complex and a new Sports, Health and Wellbeing Centre, all located on the University’s west London campus. Vice Chancellor Professor Julia Buckingham explained the plans, “Brunel University London has begun a process of transformation which has already brought successes in student satisfaction and international reputation. This new investment will help us to ensure that, as London’s only single campus university, our facilities continue to keep pace with our achievements’. Jane Kelly, Chair of Council, added, "These developments will strengthen our teaching and research and enrich our campus life, bringing benefits for all our staff and students as well as the local community. I am delighted to support these exciting plans and look forward to watching the plans take shape over the next five years'.
