Fireworks spectacular in its seventh year

More than 6,000 students, staff and families from the Hillingdon community are expected to attend Brunel’s big bonfire and fireworks event on Thursday 5 November.

Now in its seventh year, the event has become one of the most hotly-anticipated in the university’s calendar, attracting young and old from across the region to join in the festival spirit.

As well as lighting up the sky with a spectacular fireworks display, the university will fill the event with a wide range of food and drink stalls, bouncy castle, gladiator joust and bungee run. For the less active, face painting, balloon modelling and the unique talents of the university’s circus skills society will be on hand to entertain.

And this year’s celebrations will be bigger than ever, with a unique 50th Anniversary twist giving the community the chance to find out about all the events the university will be putting on over the next 15 months to mark its milestone year.

Tickets are £4.50 for adults and £3.50 for children, with the under-3s given free entrance, and limited free parking will be available on campus. Tickets can be bought on campus or online here.
