FareShare- Tesco Food Collection Volunteer

Details of the Charity:

FareShare is the UK's largest food distribution charity, helping to support organisations such as Kid's breakfast clubs, community centres, homeless hostels and refuges. At FareShare we help over 9,653 charities make delicious and nutritious meals by saving food from going to waste. FareShare also redistributed more than 16,992 tonnes of food enough to provide 36.7 million meals for people in need. We now operate 21 Regional Centres   around the UK.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

Donate just three hours to help collect food on either   the 29th November, 30th November or 1st   December for FareShare. Volunteers make a big difference to the 8.4million   people currently living in food poverty in the UK and the three hours you   volunteer could collect enough food for 600 meals!
