H4ALL - Community Champion



Details of the Charity:

H4All is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) made up of five prominent third sector charities. H4All CIO works collaboratively with our partners and the wider community to develop a holistic, social prescribing approach to improving the health and wellbeing of residents in Hillingdon. This includes simplifying access to the resources and services provided by third sector organisations and promoting alternative community-based support.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

To spread health and wellbeing messaging to residents and organisations in Hillingdon. 

The community champions program aims to empower the community to take steps to improve their health and wellbeing. These volunteers will be trained to have conversations around several health and wellbeing issues, including COVID-19 messaging and other messaging, including mental health, diabetes, and asthma.

The volunteers are expected to regularly attend monthly online meetings and help spread health messaging in person and online as directed by the coordinator.  

Skills Required:

No previous experience is needed. Confident individuals who have good contacts within Hillingdon are encouraged to apply, but this is not necessary.

Additional Benefits:

  • This role provides initial accredited training with possible opportunities for two more accredited trainings
