Details of the Charity:Share this
We work with blind children and young people and their families to develop the skills they need to overcome the barriers to realising their hopes, dreams and ambitions. Our fantastic Community Volunteers play a crucial role in championing RSBC’s work and raising vital funds to help blind children live a life without limits.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
Join Team RSBC on 3rd October to cheer for 41 RSBC marathon runners.
Have fun and meet like-minded people while you join us for the first live London Marathon since 2019.

There are no set hours that you need to commit - a whole day or just one hour of your time will be a great addition to the cheering feeling at London Marathon. As an orientation, we would be looking to cover the following times:. 11:00 - 14:30. 14:00 - 17:30. You can join us for the whole day or just a part of it. It's really up to you and the time you have.
This is one-off volunteering opportunity which will also give you an insight into what the organisation does and it is a great way to get involved when time permits you.
No special skills are needed for this role.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are looking to support the work of RSBC through cheering for the runners, advocating on the behalf of RSBC and learning about events, campaigning, fundraising and our work.
