Sickle Cell Society - Fundraising

Details of the Charity:

The Sickle Cell Society (SCS) was established in 1979 with a mission to improve the quality of life for people with sickle cell disorder (SCD). We support adults, children and young people and their families to help them to understand the challenges the condition causes. SCD is a genetic condition causing the body to produce sickle shaped red blood cells, which coalesce, causing pain and reducing the amount of oxygen carried around the body.
