Trinity Homeless Projects - Christmas Chalet

Details of the Charity:

Trinity’ mission is to end homelessness. We are the largest provider of supported accommodation, in London Borough of Hillingdon, to those who are suffering the effects of homelessness. We have 40 houses supporting over 300 people every year to address the reasons why they became homeless, so that they never become homeless again. We have a sister charity in Slough, SHOC, which offers Day Centre Services to people sleeping rough.

We have 2 Social Enterprises, Trinity Furniture Store which generate income to open more houses. We have a very active Fundraising team who have a  transactional approach offering the community to help us end homelessness.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

We have a great opportunity for Staff and Students to utilise their Volunteering hours. This year Uxbridge are having a traditional Christmas Market with beautiful wooden Chalets. Trinity have been given a Chalet free of charge and we are asking for volunteers to sign up for a shift or two. We will be having a sledge to collect food for the Food Bank, Christmas Present wrapping and a Gift it Forward Store to raise donations for us to buy essentials items for people sleeping rough on the streets will need this winter.

The dates are from 16th November to 28th December 10am to 7pm (shifts are in 3 hour blocks). Staff can come with their colleagues or as a family. Please sign up using the link below.
