Details of the Charity:

We are a community-based charity providing space for education, leisure and social activities for all ages. We are a fully licensed premise and also provide meeting space for local business and community groups.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

Our Tuesday afternoon Tea dance would love one or two volunteers to help weekly on  Tuesday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm , you can also learn to dance!

On the 4th Wednesday of every month we have the Senior citizens charity hold an afternoon tea and bingo from 1.30pm to 3pm.

On November 27th they have a Christmas party for around 80 older persons where we serve a Christmas lunch and entertainment. We would love some volunteers for the lunch from 12.30pm to 3pm.

Skills Required:

  • A sense of fun and a love of meeting people and making tea!

  • Travel expenses reimbursed 
  • Hours volunteered will be recorded on your HEAR – which goes on your permanent university record
  • All hours contribute towards your Brunel Volunteers Awards, which leads to an invitation to the Brunel Volunteers Awards Ceremony
