Afghanistan and Central Asian Association is an organisation that supports London's refugee community and the Afghan diaspora in the United Kingdom, providing a wide range of social, cultural, and educational services in order to break down language and cultural barriers. The organisation has a long-standing integration agenda, with campaigns for human rights and democracy.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will work with the marketing and/or communications team to develop designs that convey the organisation's message and branding. As a Graphic Design Volunteer, you will by creating visuals and layouts for various print and digital platforms so you can build up a whole portfolio.
Typical duties include:
- Assist with the creation of graphic content for ACAA's social media accounts, primarily Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
- Support with the creation of posters, leaflets, and newsletters to advertise ACAA's projects, services, and activities
- Communicate with members of staff to ensure thoughtful representation of ACAA’s mission and efforts across social media platforms
Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
