Dr Alaa Marshan is a lecturer at the Computer Science Department, where he teaches a variety of topics related to data science, machine learning, high performance computation and business intelligence and integration. He has won multiple awards for his teaching excellence at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
At the research front, his research primarily focus on intelligent data analysis, applications of AI/ML and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to support decision making, explainable AI, information management and improving operational business information systems.
