Summary

Angie White is an Advanced Practitioner Sonographer and Lecturer and Module Lead within the MSK Ultrasound Programmes. Angie completed her training in 2005 in Diagnostic Medical Sonography at the University of Colorado (USA). She worked as a sonographer and ultrasound supervisor in Denver, Colorado before moving to the UK in 2015 where she still continues to practice clinically. She has varied work experience (in both hospital and private settings) and a comprehensive scanning experience (general, small parts, obstetrics/gynaecology, vascular, MSK) with a focus on research and education. In addition to working at Brunel, she also works as an Ultrasound Practice Educator with the North Central London Imaging Academy. She is published and has lectured internationally.

Qualifications

Angie has a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder (2001), and a Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from the University of Colorado Denver (2005). She also completed a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Research Methods from Queen Mary University of London (2022), and a PgCert in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (2023) and also Clinical Education (2025) (both from Brunel Universty of London).

Responsibility

Angie is the Module Lead for the modules within the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Programmes: PH5638/39, PH5662/64, PH5663/65.
