Summary

My current research focus is on the effects of increased state anxiety on physical balance control in young and older adults, as well as clinical populations such as those with Parkinson's Disease, with Dr Will Young and Dr Andrew Parton.

I completed my BSc in Psychology and Honors degree in Cognitive Neuroscience with Professor Liz Franz at the University of Otago (NZ), researching the neural mechanisms underlying expectation and reward systems (Fielding, A., Fu, Y., & Franz, E. A. (2018). The Brain’s Reward Response Occurs Even Without Actual Reward!. Journal of gambling studies34(2), 449-463.).
