Summary
Before joining BBS, I was an Assistant Professor at the School of Business and a Research Fellow at the Centre for China Financial Research, the University of Hong Kong, and, a part-time Research Fellow at Chinese University of Hong Kong-Tsinghua University Joint Research Centre on Chinese Economy.
My research focuses on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Political Economy and Chinese Economy. Specifically, I am interested in how institutions, particularly legal and political institutions, affect the incentives of business players in innovation activities. My research articles have been published in Journal of Corporate Finance, Research Policy, Journal of Comparative Economics, Economic Inquiry, Technovation and International Journal of Industrial Organization etc.
I had extensive industry experience as a middle and senior level manager in international trade, information technology and business consultancy before I pursued academic career. I love traveling and classic music is my passion.
