Research Interests
Dong’s research has focused on the theory of design for inclusion and the application of inclusive design principles and methods in industrial design, engineering design, architectural design, and service design processes.

Project details
Dong was Principal Investigator of the EPSRC grant ‘Facilitating Wider Uptake of Inclusive Design’ and successfully co-applied Newton Funds as PI and has won prestigious fellowship awards. She was Co-I of EPSRC and KTP projects and won a number of industry-funded projects both in the UK and China.
