Mr Iain Farquharson
PhD Student

Summary

Growing up in Hampshire surrounded by the military I have always maintained a passionate interest in military history. This interest developed whilst at school and the first steps towards an academic career were taken when I graduated from Brunel University with a BA (hons.) in 2009. A military themed MA History from the University of Exeter followed this in 2010.

Following three years of voluntary and paid employment in the electronics industry I resumed my pursuit of an academic career by commencing my PhD at Brunel University.

Outside my academic pursuits I enjoy football, skiing and films.
