Summary

I am a third year PhD student within the Chemical Engineering Department at Brunel University.  My project aims to create a circular economy for end-of-life carbon fibre reinforced fibre products, whilst also increasing the sustainability of aquaculture practices, globally. This will be achieved by synthesising sustainable adsorbents from recycled carbon fibres and applying them to remediate pollutants such as antibiotics from aqueous media.
