Dr Cashell is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Engineering Council and a full member of the following Institutions:
- Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE)
- Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE)
- Member of the Engineers Ireland (MIEI)
She is also a full member of the EPSRC Peer Review College.
Dr Cashell is external examiner at the following institutions:
