Summary
Payal is an experienced GP with a portfolio career that combines clinical practice with a strong commitment to undergraduate medical education. She has eight years of experience teaching medical students, having previously worked as a GP Tutor at King's College London. She is passionate about supporting learners in community-based settings and alongside her role at Brunel Medical School, she works as a GP in Hillingdon and serves as a GP educator within her practice, supporting Year 1 Brunel Medical School students during their community placements.

Responsibility
Payal is the Year 1 Primary Care Lead, with responsibility for the design, development, and delivery of the Year 1 primary care curriculum. She leads teaching during the two dedicated Primary Care weeks within the academic year and works closely with the Year 2 Lead to support the wider Phase 1 primary care curriculum. In addition, she has contributed to communication skills teaching and serves as a House Tutor, supporting students’ academic and professional development throughout their studies.
