Young people at work and the rise of precarious employment

The overarching aim of the seminar series is to develop a cross research discipline research capability and capacity to address conceptual and empirical issues associated with the rise of precarious employment among young people in a comparative international perspective, its causes and the responses that has provoked so far by various social actors (governments, other policy authorities-social organisations and trade unions). ESRC-funded seminar series will bring together academics, policy-makers and practitioners to discuss existing research on precarious employment and the vulnerability characteristics of young people at the workplace and the labour market.
