Summary

Sofie joined Brunel as a Doctoral Researcher in October 2020 after graduating with a first class BSc in Health, Nutrition and Exercise from University of Bedfordshire earlier the same year. Her research is focusing on the contribution of genes to sedentary behavhiour patterns and causal effects on breast cancer risk and survival.

Alongside this, Sofie has around 10 years of experience working in the health industry and currently delivers the National Diabetes Prevention Programme on behalf of the NHS.
