Summary

Tao is a lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences at Brunel University London. He joined Brunel in 2018 as a lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering. Before joined Brunel, he was an Associate Professor in Geotechnical Engineering at Sichuan University, China during 2015-2018. He was a visiting scholar in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2016. He conducted postdoctoral research at University of Warwick in 2014. He received his DPhil degree in Engineering Science from University of Oxford in 2014. He also holds a BEng degree in Civil Engineering awarded in 2010 by Tongji University, China.
