Yaser is the Modern Languages Lecturer of Arabic and the Brunel Language Centre Student Activities Assistant.

He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with extensive bi-lingual teaching experience of both Arabic and English in Higher and Further Education in Syria, Saudi Arabia and the UK.

Yaser holds a BA in English Language and Literature and a PGDE in Education and Teaching Methodology from Aleppo University, a CELTA from West Thames College London, and a Master's Degree in Contemporary Literature and Culture from Brunel University London.

Alongside his current work responsibilities within BEEC and PDC, Yaser is also pursuing a PhD in English Literature here at Brunel.
