Call for Participants

 

Under the Researcher Links scheme offered by the British Council and TUBITAK, we will be holding a workshop on the above theme at Istanbul Kemeburgaz University, Turkey, during the period 24-27 May 2017.

The workshop is being coordinated by Dr Ioana Pisica and Dr Oguzhan Ceylan, and will have contributions from other leading researchers, Dr Mohamed Darwish (Brunel University London - Smart Power Networks - Institute of Energy Futures, with interest in Power Electronics), Dr Ahmed Zobaa (Brunel University London – Senior Lecturer with extensive expertise in Renewable Energy), Prof Mehmet Hakan Hocaoglu (Gebze Technical University – Head of the Electronics Engineering Department), Dr Tuba Gozel (Gebze Technical University – Assistant Professor specialised in electricity distribution systems). We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK and Turkey to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Researcher Links programme.
