Multimodal digital media in journalistic newsrooms: a semantic computational model in a converged structure. A study of information systems in Brazil, Costa Rica, England and the United States
The project proposes an exploratory study in the fields of Computer Science, Information Science and Communication from the investigation of the productive flows and routines in journalistic writing in Brazil, Costa Rica, England and the United States. A computational model of semantic treatment is proposed, structured in layers and metalanguage, to manage the production of multimodal digital media.
The model considers that cooperative and distributed production routines can be managed from diverse digital media and converging, according to a humanistic and social conception. The model centered on the citizen and aims to facilitate the construction of creative and intercultural dialogues according to the theory of collective intelligence.
