Experimental Investigation of Combustion and Emission Performance of Advanced Synthetics Biofuels in Diesel Engines
The blending of synthetic, fossil, aromatics, and oxygenates leads to different H/C/O ratio leading to different thermo-physical-chemical properties. The impact of thermos-physical-chemical property variations on the in-cylinder combustion and emission performance for various synthetic fuels will be investigated in a diesel engine. Candidates who are interested in this research must be highly motivated, organised, ambitious with good communication skills and having a First or Upper-second class honours degree in Chemistry or any relevant engineering field. The ability to work independently with experiments is desirable.
