Artificial intelligence for voltage management and active electricity distribution networks
This project will look into the application of AI in sustainable electrical power systems with an emphasis on active distribution networks. Voltage management using renewable energy inverter capacity will also be incorporated into the novel algorithms to provide optimized operation under different weather conditions. To achieve more efficient operation of power systems with renewable energy sources on large scale, interdisciplinary research will be required to adopt and adapt AI techniques to manage and optimize the operation of power system components.
