Health Visiting practitioners play a key role in the promotion of health and the prevention of ill health at individual, group and community levels; School Nursing practitioners promote school health and meet the health-related needs of children and adolescents; Occupational Health Nursing equips you with practical experience in occupational settings in either the public or private sector, which includes responsibility for health and safety at work, risk assessment, management of occupational disease and the promotion of physical and psychological health in the workplace.

On successful completion of your Specialist Community Public Health nursing degree, you’ll be eligible to apply for community public health nurse posts within your specialism and even progress to a team leader or managerial role. You’ll also be eligible for Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
