- Gotham: Gotham is the official university font. It is designed to be used in all official printed publications. All networked university PCs have Gotham installed. Gotham can be installed for mac or non network PCs by downloading it from the connect portal. Please note that the font license the university has does not allow transfer to third parties.
- Arial: Arial is the default font used when Gotham is unavailable or not suitable (for example in word documents to be stored on SharePoint or online).
- Montserrat: Montserrat is the default web font. When creating content on www.brunel.ac.uk it will automatically be used. It should be set as the default font on other sites hosted on Brunel servers.
Other fonts: If it becomes necessary to use other fonts then a modern, sans serif font similar to Arial should be used. The university logo is based on a modified form of the Exo 2 font. While this is provided on many machines, it should not be used as an official font.
