05_ARI2

Have you been wondering how can your research make a difference? The newly released platform: Areas of Research Interest (ARIs) from UK governmental bodies, helps researchers to see how their research could help solve problems and inform government policy.

The platform allows a researcher to learn how their expertise can be utilised by policy bodies by typing in their research areas or keywords in the search field. ARIs are wide-ranging and can cover anything from economic and social policy to international relations and national security.

It also allows to:

  • Search or browse the questions that government departments are seeking to answer.
  • Use topics and research fields to find questions relevant to your academic discipline.
  • Once a person has found a relevant question, they look for the 'Next Steps' box on a question page, which will guide themon how to reach out to the correct policy team.

Browse the platform: Areas of Research Interest (ARIs)
