Honorary Graduates
The University awards Honorary Doctorates in recognition of:
- outstanding scholarly achievement, usually recognised internationally;
- outstanding service to the national or international community;
- outstanding service to the University; or
- outstanding service to the local community.
The award of Honorary Master of the University may be awarded to other individuals who have made a significant contribution to the University, its staff, or its students.
