This event is a talk by Professor Philippe Sands QC
Prof Philippe Sands QC is Professor of Law and Director of the Centre on International Courts and Tribunals at University College London, and a barrister and founding member of Matrix Chambers. He practises before the ICJ and other international courts and tribunals, and sits as an arbitrator, including at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. His books include Lawless World (2005) and Torture Team (2008). He will be speaking on “The International Judge”.
