School Events

Following the graduation ceremonies on Wednesday 24 July, all Business School graduates and their guests are invited to join members of staff from the School in the Marquee immediately after ceremonies.

The Business School Eastern Gateway Building will also be open to receive visits from graduates and their guests, where drinks and light refreshments will be available on the ground floor in the southern end of the Atrium. Dissertations and Final Year Projects will also be available here for collection from the Programmes Office Reception.

MBA students will receive an invitation to attend an exclusive event in the MBA Centre on the second floor, following the afternoon graduation ceremony. 

PhD graduates and their guests are invited to use the Staff Room on the third floor where refreshments will also be available.

Following the Graduation Ceremony on Friday 26 July, the School of Arts will be holding a reception in the Courtyard (weather permitting) where students will have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of Champagne and other refreshments. Students will also be able to collect their Dissertation from the Gaskell Building, until around 6.00pm.

The School of Engineering and Design would like to invite you and your guests to a Prize Giving Reception, in the Michael Sterling Atrium. This will take place between the two ceremonies on Thursday 25 July at 1.00pm - 3.30pm.

At this reception, School sponsors will be awarding prizes to students who have been selected for various prizes. This will be an opportunity for students and guests to meet staff and take photographs All prize winners will be notified and sent an invitation for themselves and their guests.
