Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment

The Department of Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment (CMSR)  is responsible for effective communication between the University and its external audiences including potential students and their friends, families and teachers, the media, the local, regional, national and international communities, business, industry, our graduates and other key stakeholders.

The Department is also responsible for undertaking the corporate marketing activities associated with the aims and objectives of the University's Marketing Strategy, and provides professional advice, news and information to staff in the academic schools and administrative and service areas of the University.

The Department is made up of the following teams:

  • Campus Communications and Events.
  • Development and Alumni.
  • Digital Communications and Design.
  • Marketing.
  • Media Relations.
  • Student Recruitment (including international student recruitment and widening participation).
